The Wizard of Oz: Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Yesterday, the fifth grade went to the theatre to see The Wizard of Oz.  In class, we are learning one of the songs from the play, Somewhere Over the Rainbow

Somewhere Over the Rainbow
Judy Garland
Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high,
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue,
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true.

Someday I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far
Behind me.
Where troubles melt like lemon drops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly.
Birds fly over the rainbow.
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?
